3 pin fans are hard to find, and I needed one to complete my build with 2 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan. It fits in well while remaining discreet and fairly quiet. I haven't had any performance issues.
Bought as a replacement for an old fractal design fan that was becoming noisy.
The screws were not compatible: short screws (to be screwed in from the inside) with a different diameter from the case mount. This fan is thicker than the old one, so the original through-screws (which are screwed in from the outside, more convenient in my opinion) were not long enough. I had to cut them so I could screw them in from the inside.
In the end, this fan isn't as quiet as I had hoped, but for this price, it's still acceptable.
It ventilates without making any noise. That's all we ask of it. I bought five. No complaints. Good value for money.
It's not expensive and it does its job, it ventilates well and it's quiet, which is a plus because it's a good fan.
