I was hesitating with the competition but I ended up choosing this model and really, the result is crazy. The quality is clean and the number of fps in full ultra everywhere almost makes my eyes shine :)
Quieter than a whisper, cool and meets my performance/price ratio. Bought at the right price, it's a real bargain.
Excellent GPU, but significant coil whine with the 340W performance BIOS. I recommend using the silent BIOS, which limits power consumption to 305W. There is no loss of performance, it does not heat up any more, and the coil whine practically disappears.
Product received quickly, two days after my purchase. Perfect on LDLC's side, however, I would like to point out to future buyers that this card has a manufacturing problem related to its cooling system:
- The card cannot be installed vertically, otherwise it exceeds 105-110°C during gameplay, depending on the situation.
- Even when installed vertically, the card tends to have a significant difference between the GPU temperature and the hotspot. In my personal experience while gaming, I have hotspot temperatures between 85-95°C (my card is "undervolted" with a custom fan curve) and a GPU temperature of 55-60°C. Having a difference of more than 30-40°C between the hotspot and the GPU temperature is "normal" for this card.
- The card has a 12 VHPWR connector, so be careful when inserting the plug into the card or power supply (the same applies if you are using the 3x8 => 12 VHPWR adapter that comes with the graphics card for ATX 2.0 power supplies).
So far, this card has performed extremely well for the price. Its native OC and efficient ventilation ensure excellent gaming quality. I would, however, like to mention the very pronounced 'coil whine' on this card, which might bother some people. For me, however, it's not a concern.
