I bought the MSI MPG A850GF power supply for my first PC and I'm pleased with its performance and silence. The cables are good quality and practical.
Quiet, powerful, small, good modularity, generous cable lengths. The result is very clean.
I bought this power supply to replace my old one and to get one of better quality.
I fitted it to my PC and realised that it had an unbearable coil whine.
I took another look at the power supply, exchanged it and the new one also made this atrocious noise.
I do not know how these power supplies are sorted so that 2 in a row have the same problem, I am very disappointed with LDLC and I would like to have a power supply without this noise!
Top-of-the-range power supply, silent and perfectly stable, even with an RTX 4090 and an i9 13900K under load. The cables are top quality, and the native 12VHPWR connector is a real plus for avoiding adapters. Virtually inaudible ventilation. An excellent choice for powerful future configurations. All in all, a solid MSI product.
