    Excellent motherboard, but be careful with watercooling

    I recently fitted this motherboard to my new setup, and I have to say that it's really very good quality!
    Premium materials, well-placed connectors, but installation took a bit of time (the paper manual wasn't clear enough, there was a lack of information, and I had to look on the website for information about the watercooling PINs in particular).
    Performance is spot on, with excellent stability even under intensive use.

    Also, a small point to note for those planning to install a watercooling system: I had to remove the SSD's heatsink located under the processor socket, as it got in the way of installing the waterblock. Apart from that, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

    Top-of-the-range motherboard

    After having hesitated with other brands, I remained faithful to Asus once again and I don't regret my choice. The card exudes top-of-the-range solidity with its reinforced front and rear frames (and it does weigh a fair bit).
    Its connectivity is very comprehensive, with a large number of USB sockets (type A and C), two of which are directly linked to the processors.
    The M2_1 Gen 5 port also allows the installation of a fairly imposing cooling unit for those who don't want to stick with the already massive one supplied with the motherboard (successfully tested with a Thermalright HR10 Pro 2280).
    And last but not least, this motherboard is ultra-stable and you can trust Asus to provide regular updates of the Bios, as was already the case with my previous Crosshair VIII Dark Hero...
