Incredible 360° sound

Immerse yourself in the sounds of your entertainment with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X. Thanks to 360° spatial sound, you can hear every reload and every voice, so you know exactly where your enemies are.

Take total control of your sound with gaming's first professional-quality parametric equalizer. X-ray sound from the SteelSeries Sonar audio software suite lets you hear footsteps, bomb installations and potion shots before you see them, with presets from eSports pros that will give you the edge in the most popular games.

Noise-cancelling microphone

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X features a fully retractable ClearCast Gen2 microphone that uses the same two-way microphone design used by Formula 1 teams. So you get crystal-clear, natural sound with seamless noise cancellation. And when the microphone isn't needed, it retracts seamlessly into the earpiece.

    Overall good

I bought this Artcis Nova 7X to replace my Artcis Nova 7 (old gen) which had outlived its usefulness.
The headset is light to wear, even with bulky glasses it's not a problem over long periods.
The battery easily lasts a week, the quality of the microphone, earpieces and spatial sound are good, and the network range is good (25m through several walls).
    I have encountered two problems:
    1. The headset turns on, does nothing and then refuses to turn off, unless I force a reset with a pin.
    2. The headphones no longer detect anything, you have to remember to reconnect the USB sensor because the hardware has bugged.
A good mid/top of the range headset for multimedia/multi-support, but in view of the problems encountered I wouldn't recommend this model to everyone.
