The CXN100 will instantly transform a conventional hi-fi system into a system for the future. And because it's a networked device, the CXN100's firmware can be updated remotely, via Cambridge's StreamMagic application, to take advantage of the latest services. The first thing you'll notice about the CXN100 is its large, high-resolution colour display, which is ideal for viewing album art. Cambridge has also tweaked the volume control, to get things right with a comforting tactile response. Inside, Cambridge steps up a gear with a new ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 DAC and StreamMagic Gen 4 module, while redesigned, expertly tuned and simplified circuits for a purer signal path complete the picture.
The ease of use of streaming music was once disappointing. That's no longer the case, thanks to better CODECS, wider and faster bandwidths and products like the CXN100. The latter has been designed to offer effortless accessibility, but with uncompromising sonic excellence that's the result of over 55 years of hi-fi development, and over a decade of perfecting the StreamMagic platform.
The CXN100 integrates free and subscription-based high-resolution services, such as Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect with MQA, Qobuz and Deezer, for the best sound quality available. With Apple Airplay2 and Chromecast built in, you can access Apple Music, Amazon Music, BBC Sounds and much more. The CXN100 is also compatible with Roon.
For even better sound, Cambridge has enhanced the CXN100's circuitry to take advantage of the 32-bit capabilities of the ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 digital to analogue converter.
If the DAC is the heart of the CXN100, the Cambridge StreamMagic Gen 4 module is its brain. It uses the Cambridge streaming platform and application. It's responsible for the network player's smooth, seamless and stable listening experience from any digital source. The CXN100's firmware can also be upgraded over the air.
A beautifully smooth volume dial and large colour display take the CXN100 's music experience to the next level. TheStreamMagic app is your remote control, allowing you to intuitively control connected sources.

Excellent steamer...I'm delighted.
I've integrated it into my Cambridge configuration but it will work just as well in another configuration...
It's fluid and intuitive to use, the StreamMagic application works like a charm, and most importantly, the sound is balanced, detailed and really excellent...
In short, for my part it's all good ;)
