Very good motherboard for upgrading your PC
I'd had a configuration for a very long time, a first-generation I7 and 8GB of XMP 1.0 RAM, plus a small graphics card for office use and an SSD.
I've been looking for a configuration that could be up to date and with two HDMI ports, without needing a graphics card at the start to cut costs & I don't do gaming, so there's no need at my level.
I chose this motherboard for the following reasons:
- 2 HDMI ports if processor with integrated graphics chip (which is my case with an Intel I5 14400).
- DDR5 memory: other motherboards in the same price range have DDR4 and the memory prices are very similar, so I might as well have DDR5, I've got 16GB in GSKILL.
The only downside is the number of internal USB 2 ports you want to use, as there's only one internal USB 2.0 & one USB 3.0 port.
