I've finally swapped my 10-year-old screen for a real gamer's screen and it's amazing! I got a good Display Port 1.4 cable and the G-Sync function activated itself. The rendering is excellent and I don't have any dead pixels, I've been looking for a while...
The best screen for me, for the time being in 2023!
An unusual size but ULTRA ( // ultragear...) pleasant to use on a daily basis after a few days of adaptation and adjustment :) Perfect resolution in 1440, 160Hz... fast ips...
Top for multiscreen teleworking and perfect for video games!
I've gone from two 27-inch screens to this one and I'm delighted!
Although the two 27-inch screens were practical for certain uses, I realised that a 34-inch screen could do the same thing, taking up less space, and I don't think I'll ever go back.
In terms of professional use (web development), it's just perfect! It's like having two screens.
In terms of games, I'm currently redoing CP2077 and having a screen like this makes the immersion even more insane!
Minor drawbacks:
- The price, even though it's a quality product, I find the screen a bit expensive.
- Resolution problems specific to the 21/9
The screen was installed immediately after receipt, and quickly:
- The DP cable is rather limited in size
- The stand lacks rigidity/stability -> the slightest movement of the mouse or placing a heavy object on the desk causes the screen to move in all directions.
