Top phone - HONEST packaging
So the product itself is great, aesthetically it's a pleasure to look at, the weight feels like you're holding real premium, the stylus is precise, there's no more useless Bixby button, the performance is amazing (Game Cube emulator 4x nickel). I like the screen resolution, which is close to 4k, as I've never been able to stand Full HD+. As always, the 120hz is relatively useless on a device of this type, but at least it's adaptive. I was fed up with changing phones to get the same long-term experience every time, give or take a few details. That's why I was tempted by a super top-of-the-range model with a stylus.
The only problem is, the pill just won't go down. Because there's no way that, for nearly £1000, you can get a phone with ONLY DALLE.
-My P990i, which I bought in 2006 for around €600, came with a dock + a wrist strap + a data cable (a proprietary port like all the others at the time) + a mains adapter + a replacement stylus (mega class) + a kit to remove the retractable physical keyboard and turn it into a simple candybar (super mega class) + a 32MB Memory stick pro duo I think + a hands-free kit WITH, get this, a jack adapter that was partially detachable and allowed you to plug in any headphones you wanted. All this in 2006...
-my 2010 Nokia N900, for €480, came with a classic micro-usb cable + a mains power cable + an RCA cable that plugged into the audio jack port and allowed you to display content on a TV + a stereo hands-free kit (very well made, by the way).
-Samsung? "Your usb-C cable in 2.0, cheh 1000€ lool". For the record, my S7 Edge and S10 at LEAST came with a female usb-A adapter. And the S10 had great AKG headphones as well. This one? Nothing. Samsung used to make fun of Apple in their ads? Now they're mocking the customer. All's well...
