TheTripp Lite by Eaton SR42UB is a rugged, lockable 42Urackmount en closure that accommodates all standard 19" (48.26 cm) rackmount equipment. It comes fully assembled (casters are included and are removable) for quick and easy deployment in secure high-density server and IT networking environments.
Front and rear equipment mounting rail assemblies adjust in 1/4" (6.35 mm) increments. Tool-free accessory mounting rails (2 rails per enclosure) include slots for quick installation of vertical cable management devices and compatible PDUs. The mounting locations are arranged in an industry standard configuration compatible with a wide range of accessories. Each rail accommodates two vertical PDUs or cable management devices side-by-side (four units per enclosure).
The enclosure includes mounting hardware with 50 M6 cage nuts and 50 M6 screws. The rugged, textured powder-coated finish withstands the conditions found in non-IT environments such as warehouses. This rack offers great ventilation capacity from front to back. Over 65% open space in the door hole configuration meets or exceeds the requirements of server manufacturers. The maximum usable internal depth for this rack is 37 inches/94 cm (front to back rail). It has aweight rating of 3000 pounds (1360 kg) fixed and 2250 pounds (1020 kg) rolling. Its front door is lockable, reversible and removable. Its rear doors are also lockable and reversible. The split rear door design reduces clearance requirements for service access, allowing the enclosure to be placed closer to a wall.The removable and lockable side panels are 'half-format' to make them more compact and lightweight, improving ease of installation and maintenance. There are also two side panels per side (4 panels in total). The side panels are keyed as are the front and rear doors. Integrated racking tabs allow enclosures to be combined securely in rows. The centre-to-centre width can be set to 600mm or 24" to accommodate standard data centre slabs. The levelling feet extend to allow the enclosure to be positioned on uneven floors. The levellers are removable, and finally, this rack has a convenient grounding system.
