A 24U rack for easy installation
This StarTech.com server rack provides 24U of storage space in a secure, elegant cabinet, for the storage of 19" rack-mount devices such as Dell, HP and IBM servers, as well as telecommunications and audio/video equipment. The rack is compatible with EIA-310-compliant equipment and will support a total load capacity of 450kg.
Easy equipment installation
This rack includes a number of features that make it easy to incorporate a wide range of equipment. Its adjustable mounting rails allow you to easily change the depth of the rails from 50.8 to 762 mm to ensure perfect compatibility with your standard rack-mounted equipment. The extra depth also makes it easier to manage cables and power at the rear of your equipment.
To simplify cable management, the rack includes a 3m roll of hook-and-loop cable ties that allow you to easily store your cables by tying them together or securing them to the rack. The hook-and-loop material can be cut to size, providing an ideal cable solution for all rack-mounted equipment. The rack includes cover holes on the top and bottom panels, allowing you to easily route cables to and from the cabinet for discreet cable management.
The rack also features earthing lugs to further protect your equipment by grounding it. This rack also includes a 1U shelf that provides a stable surface ideal for storing non-rack-mountable equipment or your tools. To simplify installation, the rack comes fully assembled.
A practical, secure cabinet
To ensure the safety of your rack-mounted equipment, this rack has lockable mesh doors. As well as fitting elegantly into any server room, these mesh doors also provide passive cooling. The doors are also reversible, so you can choose which side of the rack to install them on depending on the space available in your server room.
The rack also has two removable side panels with independent quick-locking devices, allowing you easy access to your equipment without compromising the security of the installation.
The cabinet has castors for easy access to rear-mounted equipment, making it easy to move around your office, studio or server room. What's more, the width and height of the rack correspond to standard door measurements. So you can freely move your server rack between different rooms.
