I was very sceptical about taking this 7900 XTX in this Edition, knowing that I already had the 6900 XT!
But it blew me away, I wasn't expecting so much power.
In my eyes, it will remain the best AMD card in this RED DEVIL Edition!
For those who would like to acquire this marvel, go ahead and close your eyes!
But you must first have a good 12th gen i7 processor or Ryzen 7 5800X3D for optimum performance.
Nothing to say, a huge performance gain (it replaces my RTX 3070), silent card, small coil whine, nothing too bad.
I give a 5 star rating for the following reasons:
- quite quiet, coil whine inaudible (closed case)
- very good cooling for this 400w tdp monster
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's the right one for me.
- incredible IG performance (last of us in 4k ultra .. the slap!)
- very nice box, tool provided to support the huge card
I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I'm sure it's a good one. I'm not sure how you can get past a 4090 on call of, you can't get past 80°, top.
I can't see how not to give it 5 stars.
I'm not sure how I could not give it 5 stars, but it's still very unstable in April 2023.
It's why despite the rating I don't recommend buying it for now. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy it because of the many bugs (multi-screen, crashes, idle power consumption, inconsistent performance). I'm not sure if the price/quality ratio is still good and the bugs are decreasing.
The card is quiet with its silent bios and does not heat up, a slight coilwhine barely audible but nothing surprising on cards that consume a lot
