Very good keyboard, attractive and responsive. On the other hand, the pieces of plastic on either side of the keyboard look a bit cheap/loose. I also regret the lack of multimedia keys.
From a technical point of view, the keyboard seems perfect. But if you're fussy about the finish, you should know that:
- the plastic parts on the edges of the keyboard are really ugly (shiny grey plastic worthy of a child's toy),
- some (but not all) of the replacement keys supplied have a different font to the basic keys (thicker, rounded characters), and look a bit spotty when installed,
- the 3 lock indicators (Caps Lock and so on) are poorly placed between 2 rows of very tightly packed keys, and the moulding of the letters is too thin, which makes the indicators hard to read (despite the blinding LEDs, which are fortunately configurable),
- a small firmware bug (?) prevents the Caps Lock key lighting from being set correctly when using a custom lighting profile.
The keyboard is visually pleasing and especially easy to type on. The keyboard is quiet and precise enough for gaming.
Nice, heavy keyboard, but you need external resources to configure the backlighting, which is probably more difficult for macros.
The keyboard is beautiful and well finished. Whether for gaming or office use, the keyboard works perfectly and meets my expectations. It was delivered with the "Year of the Tiger" space bar. Fast and careful delivery, as always with LDLC. Thank you very much.
