Effortless, high quality sound
The ECM-W2BT can be positioned close to the mouth with a clip. The omni-directional microphone capsule helps capture your voice with clarity wherever it comes from, so there's no need to worry about the orientation of the unit.
Connect the ECM-W2BT to a compatible Sony device with a digital audio interface via the Multi-Interface (MI) socket for clear, all-digital, low-noise sound. An attenuation function allows recording levels to be adjusted to suit the source.
The unit comes with a windscreen for quality recording when shooting outdoors. Attach the windscreen to the microphone to effectively reduce wind and breath noise for clear, stable sound even in windy conditions.
Peace of mind with maximum reliability
The Qualcomm aptX Low Latency Bluetooth codec is used for transmission between the microphone and receiver, providing unaltered audio quality and low latency.
With twice the capacity of conventional configurations, the improved wireless connectivity reduces the risk of audio dropouts. In an unobstructed location, communication can be up to 200m (650ft), allowing for even more flexible video and audio configurations.
Take long outdoor shots with the ECM-W2BT and its long battery life. With a camera that supports power via an MI Shoe, you can shoot for up to 9 hours without the need for a cable.
With its dust and moisture resistant design, the ECM-W2BT is designed for easy outdoor shooting. The seals and port covers are waterproof for better resistance to dust and moisture.
One microphone, multiple configurations
A switch on the receiver lets you choose from three modes: microphone only, receiver only, or a mix of both.
Make your vlogs more professional with a more realistic sounding audio track. The microphone is expandable with the 3.5mm stereo mini jack input on the transmitter, and the ECM-LV1 can be connected for high quality stereo sound.
The protective stand supplied with the ECM-W2BT can be used to carry the receiver and microphone together. The stand facilitates the combined use of the receiver and microphone and acts as a storage space when you want to take the ECM-W2BT with you.
