High resolution, dual polar pattern
Record professional-quality audio at up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution for ultimate vocal clarity and stunning vocal and instrumental tracks. Gamers and videoconferencing users will get crisp, accurate sound far superior to that of built-in microphones in laptops or smartphones. With a maximum SPL of 120 dB, it's easy to record high-output instruments such as drums, brass instruments and electric guitars.
ARA offers two switchable capsules for maximum versatility. The cardioid pattern captures sound directly in front of the mic while rejecting sound from other sides, while the omnidirectional mode captures sound evenly from all sides.
Great versatility
Recording with ARA is simple and plug-and-play. Connect it directly to your Mac, Windows PC or games console using a standard USB-C connector, to Android devices using a USB OTG adapter cable, and to iOS devices using an optional Apple camera adapter and powered USB hub. Every function you need is easily accessible, including directionality selection, a mic mute button with LED indicator and a 3.5mm headphone jack for latency-free monitoring.
Mount ARA on a desk using the included mic stand or attach it to an articulating arm, boom or standard mic stand using the included mic stand adapter.
