The 12th generation Uni-Q incorporates MAT technology drivers to deliver an even more impressive acoustic experience. MAT technology consists of a labyrinthine structure that effectively absorbs 99% of unwanted sound coming from behind the tweeter. The result is a pure, natural sound with no distortion.
Inside, the KEF LS50 Wireless II speakers feature a 25 mm vented aluminium tweeter with a 100-watt Class A/B amplifier and a 130 mm aluminium cone midrange with a 280-watt Class D amplifier.
The KEF LS50 Wireless II speakers offer extensive wireless capabilities for a modern, high-resolution sound experience. This model is Wi-Fi AC Dual Band, Bluetooth 4.2, AirPlay 2 and Chromecast compatible to suit your every need. You'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to music streaming, with Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz and Deezer all available. Plus, the KEF Connect app gives you ten times the customisation options.
These active speakers also have full connectivity with HDMI eARC, digital audio, analogue and Ethernet ports. There are also subwoofer outputs for adding an external subwoofer.

I hesitated for a while before shelling out that kind of money. These KEFs were the only ones that met the criteria of being completely autonomous (active + google cast + aux/optical inputs). I was blown away by the sound: the highs are clear and precise, the bass is there but natural. The sound really fills my small living room (~30m2). I can't recommend it highly enough!
