Once I replaced the cartridge, following all the instructions precisely, the printer still displayed "Replace Toner". So it was impossible to use this cartridge.
I ended up buying another original Brother toner cartridge, hoping that it would work.
Print quality is the same as with the original toner. The number of pages printed remains to be seen.
I have 2 different Brother printers that use the 2420 cartridges and neither of them recognises these compatible cartridges (I tried with the 6 that I bought in a pack). As soon as I replace the old Brother cartridge no worries.
I'm disappointed and would love a hand if there's anything I've missed...
The toner fits easily into the Brother DCP-L2530DW laser printer. First impressions are correct in terms of contrast, with no smearing. It remains to be seen how many prints will be produced for the price.
For 20% of the official cartridge, you get a toner that works perfectly well.
