Very good design
A very useful investment for my needs: Photos, Videos and VS2022 application development, no games.
The pluses:
- Installed 2 Pcie 4x0 Nvme Samsung 980 Pro 2Tb SSDs, 6900 mb/s read and 5000 mb/s write, makes a huge difference under Visual studio 2022 compared to Pcie 3.0
- The 12th generation Proc does the job perfectly with DDR5, compared to my fixed MSI Z490 ACE config despite the 10 core / 20 thread proc, the difference is huge.
- Very good quality 2540x1440 screen.
- Very quiet.
- Bios update done in UEFI without any problem.
Minus :
- Keyboard like a Christmas tree, ridiculous all the colours flickering all over the place and damaging to readability, I limited the problem with SteelSeries config Chakra mode but it's still ridiculous.
- Loss of warranty seal if you add a disk or memory, this is not normal on an upgradeable product of this price
- Remove bloatware from microsofts and MSi.
The LDLC service is not up to scratch, because ordered with high shipping costs for delivery the next day before 10am, result 24 hours of delay without explanation.
