Designed by StarTech.com, it intelligently adapts to your Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C 3.1 laptop for optimal performance and compatibility. This revolutionary technology provides IT professionals with the solution they need: a docking station for Mac and Windows laptops equipped with a USB Type-C port.
With this dedicated dual DisplayPort Thunderbolt 3 dock, you can turn your Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 (Type-C) laptop into a workstation with an 8K display at 30 Hz, a dual-screen workstation with 4K resolution at 60 Hz (Thunderbolt 3 laptops), or a 1080p resolution (USB-C computers).
This universal Thunderbolt 3 dock is equipped with multiple USB 3.1 and USB 3.0 ports for up to five USB devices and features a GbE port and audio support:
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-C (10 Gb/s) port with 15 W (3 A, 5 V) charging
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-A (10 Gb/s) port with B.C. 1.2 fast charging
- 2 USB 3.0 Type-A ports (5 Gb/s)
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-C port (10 Gb/s)
- 1 Gigabit Ethernet port
- 1 x 3.5mm audio/mic port
USB-C ports and one of the USB-A ports support data transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps (USB 3.1), provided the host laptop supports the same speed.
