Dolby Atmos / DTS:X surround sound

With its 150 Watts per channel, the Yamaha RX-A8A home cinema amplifier offers optimal conditions for every user. This 11.2-channel model is also ready for immersive sound with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Auro-3D decoding. It incorporates Cinema DSP HD3 technology capable of reproducing the most appropriate sound field for your entertainment. Inside, the high-speed amplifier will deliver the performance you expect while ensuring perfect signal stability. And the 5th leg of the A.R.T. design ensures low vibration! Wedge design ensures low vibration!

This Yamaha amplifier is equipped with a double 32-bit/384 kHz D/A conversion and the Compressed Musich Enhancer function to restore the elements lost during the compression of formats such as MP3 for example. Finally, the YPAO-RSC calibration allows you to configure your equipment according to the acoustics of your room.

    A pretty monster with velvet legs

    A lot of possibilities that require a personal investment, if you want to get the best out of them. Nevertheless, almost everything is in the line and tradition of Yamaha's home cinema products, so easier to use for those who already know them. The Musiccast system, of which the RX-A8 is a powerful master, is very well designed for sound, although it could be better extended for video. In this case, the audio-video synchronisation is not optimal (sound delay).
    As for its audiophile capacities, they are displayed in a spirit of truth, the dynamics are impressive without the result ever being ostentatious. It is regrettable that it is not possible, it seems to me, to integrate the subwoofer, in the excellent "pure direct" mode.
