This economical ET-8550 printer lets you print up to 2,300 high-quality photos with a single set of ink bottles. The bottles and tanks are designed to be easy to use, so you don't have to worry about refilling other ink tank systems.
This model prints on a wide range of media up to 13 inches (A3+), including photo paper, fine art paper and heavy matte card stock (up to 1.5mm thick).
Epson Claria ET Premium inks produce high-quality, long-lasting photos up to A4 size, as well as outstanding black and white photos with the new grey ink. The black pigment ink is ideal for printing sharp text on plain paper.
With Zero Heat Micro Piezo technology, you can enjoy consistently high speed printing with significantly reduced power consumption, saving you time and money.
Easier to use, the Ecotank ET-8550 is also more compact. Its front-mounted tanks are designed for easy refilling and the bottles are equipped with color-coded markers so that you can't go back to the wrong colour when filling the tank. Thefront ink level display makes it easy to know when a refill is needed.
TheET-8550 has photo and A4 front paper trays and can print directly onto suitable CD/DVDs. The rear A3+ tray accepts special media such as paper and drawing cards, while the A3+ direct paper feed allows you to print on media up to 1.3mm thick and 2m long!
With this Ecotank printer, print directly from your mobile device, tablets and laptop. With Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, send your documents to print from mobile devices via Epson iPrint. You can even receive files from anywhere in the world via Epson Email Print. You can also print from SD cards and USB sticks via the 10.9cm colour touchscreen.

My ET-8550 (A3+) is really better at printing photos than my old ET-2856, so why a "BUT" in my title? Simply, the lack of an Ethernet socket for network sharing, despite LDLC indicating that 8550 is equipped with Ethernet in its title! Hence one less star, especially as my old ET-2856 was well equipped with Ethernet...

Another quick and trouble-free LDLC order. The printer is very easy to install, both in terms of hardware and software on PC and smartphone. It's also easy to configure, thanks to the size of the screen and the quality of the display. During configuration, you can define the paper size and type for the different paper loading zones. The print quality, in colour or black and white, with or without margins, is very good indeed.
I have bought printers but I am so happy with this one.
