excellent printer that replaces my old CANON PIXMA MP640 from 2009. it works on lan, wifi and usb networks. The drivers for linux: debian, ubuntu and mint, exist and allow all functions (scan, recto verso, etc...), also works under win11 and android smartphones in wifi.
Space-saving machine for printing up to A3 (as mentioned, scans are only available in A4).
Installing the printer (tray, cartridges) is easy, but setting it up is a little more complicated. You need to understand the function and usefulness of the various software programs that can be downloaded from the Canon site before installing them.
For the time being, it's only connected via a wired Ethernet network to PCs running Windows 10 and 11 (WIFI not used).
It works very well for printing and scanning, and Canon's software tools are handy.
I'll have to wait and see how much ink it uses over time.
