Excellent card, very quiet, I'm really happy with it!
Possibility to customize the colours,
Hello!
Very large card, quite imposing.
In all games it stays very cool and rather quiet:
- GPU frequency approx 2,68 GHz
- Fans at 36
- Hot spot at 70°C, GPU at 65°C
Only on F1 2021 (ultra without RayTRacing in 1440P) it gets hot
- GPU at 70°C, hotspot at 98°C, fans at 46°C
But I chose a silent case (corsair 5000D airflow with 9 fans including 3 in front for my AIO which cools my ryzen 3700X).
The games run at 100 FPS quietly (limited via Radeon driver) in a really smooth way.
Only Rocket League I leave at 120 Hz.
Negative points of the card, there are 2:
- CoilWhine in certain (rare) conditions.
For example on Borderlands 2 (blocked at 60 FPS via driver) where in the inventory, the card hisses. Problem that has not been seen elsewhere.
I used to have an RTX 2060 that whistled loudly on Guild Wars 2... the 6700XT doesn't make any noise under the same conditions...
- Definitely buy a GPU holder because despite the overall quality of the card, it is heavily weighted at the opposite end of the PCIEx slot.
10-15€ for a stand.
Otherwise the RGB is great, the Powercolor software works great and I'm really happy. I have absolutely no regrets and I appreciate all the evolutions made to the Radeon software that now works.
I am neither pro Nvidia, nor pro AMD, nor pro Intel.
I like it when it works, full stop.
With the RTX 2060, DLSS activated in F1 2021 and Shadow of Tomb Raider, I had crashes after an hour of play at the worst moment (new techno too ...).
I've got more performance with AMD, so more fluidity (normal), a better image quality (my brain makes me believe it) and I lose the DLSS, but well... there's the FSR and RSR to test too.
In short, what I see is the user experience.
And there it's 10/10
For the moment the price is a bit too high but...
-Aesthetically the card is very nice and has a very pleasant red RGB!
Its size is standard to its model... so nothing to say about that.
-It's a little bit greedy in terms of power but nothing outrageous compared to its range.
-At first glance, the whole thing is well made and seems to be very solid, and is well protected by a metal frame on the bottom.
-The fans do their job well and they are not too noisy (which is nice).
-Now for the performance ? Excellent! It handles two 144hz 28" screens without any problem, even with games like Battlefield 5 in full ultra.
!! WARNING!!! However the card is not made to handle 4k ! It can handle 2k with FPS around 50 to 75 (depending on the game) but it is not really its initial destiny.
8/10 because of the price at this time.
Excellent low power and quiet card, very efficient with a 27" WQHD screen.
The package was received well packaged, new and functional, nickel, despite the inflated prices, this graphics card is very good
