Movies by night and TV by day in one device!
Bought a month ago, I was able to make an opinion in all conditions of this "Laser TV"
The delivery:
- The screen arrives in one piece and already assembled, you have to plan the passage and to be able to help the deliveryman to bring it to your home. The package is huge but very (very) well protected. The same goes for the projector itself.
- A small drawback for the delivery, the delivery man was driving with the screen upright in his truck without having attached it... I let you imagine the damage if it had fallen in a bend.
Unpacking and assembly:
- On the screen side: it's very simple, the mounting template helps a lot. The fixings have a good margin to level the screen if you didn't manage to fix them perfectly straight.
- On the projector side: also very simple, just follow the instructions for the distance to the wall and then turn it on.
For the adjustments, it is very easy because you just have to take a picture of your image and the projector will adjust the image on the screen. If you want a perfect adjustment (no visible light outside the screen in the dark) it will take longer as you will have to play with the settings of the projector feet.
For the image:
- In the dark or low light, it's really excellent, the details of the image come out well. The factory colour setting is good but if you want to adjust it, you can find reference values on many blogs.
- During the day, the picture loses some of its cinema quality but it's more than enough to watch TV, YouTube videos or play video games with friends.
- During the day with a room directly exposed to the sun, it becomes more difficult to use it, the image collapses.
For the sound, don't count on it, the integrated sound bar is a disaster. Given the price of this projector, it would be a pity not to accompany it with a hifi system worthy of the name anyway!
In short, I am really satisfied with my purchase!
