Shameful considering the price charged
Small disclaimer: I bought the product during the last summer sales, at half price, more out of curiosity than out of any possible need for one of the products in the pack.
There are three products in this box: a wired headset, a backpack and a keyring. Let's get rid of the easiest ones to criticize right away. The keyring is cute even if you can see that it is a bit fragile with its moving parts. The backpack is rather basic but well made, except for the "straps" which are also used to close the bag and which are therefore rather thin and can be uncomfortable when carried for a long time with the bag full (but is perfect for carrying the PC accessories for example).
The price is mainly due to the headset, and this is the biggest problem that justifies my rating. In the points that are not too much of a problem, the headset is wired, with a TRRS jack and a splitter to two TRS (one mic, one headset) for more traditional installations; a remote control on the cable with a knob to manage the volume and a switch to mute the mic. And then it's downhill from there. As for the headphones, the sound quality is quite poor by default, you have to play with the sound card's equalizer to try to erase some of the flaws; and concerning the size, they seem to be made to be circum aural, but too small and it makes them rest on the ears instead, which is very quickly uncomfortable. The headband is certainly metallic, the independent headband to rest on the head is attached via two more than light elastic bands, which doesn't help to keep the headset stable on the head. But the biggest shame is the microphone. Placed on one ear, it is not boomed, which already greatly reduces the basic pickup quality, but it is also subject to a particularly unpleasant crackling noise.
This is a real disappointment compared to the price.
