Product well received. Now it would be GOOD to specify that they are 2 usb C ports when you suggest the purchase from the headset (because it's not necessarily obvious on the suggestion window) ... Instead of the classic usb port that ALL pcs have. Because having to buy an adapter on top of it makes me feel seriously cheated.
I haven't played much on the PC yet but from what I've experienced, apart from a height bug caused by standing up to sitting down, it works. However, to connect the headset to the PC it is not clear at all (you have to refuse data sharing and then accept the connection between the headset and the PC)
virtual desktop, steam, steam vr and the rift universe make you feel that the quest 2 store and the mobile headset are ultra limited or poor in content (the curation of the facebook and oculus teams is not drastic and insane, The cable doesn't feel like it's flowing down the arm or shoulder and into the back, but for intense sessions that require fast, wide movements, perhaps invest in a ceiling pulley system to avoid the risk of a crash. It's still not the PCVR experience you'd expect though. The Steam Vr Home suffers from a sweeping effect reminiscent of good old televisions before the advent of the flat screen, this breaks the immersion and is somewhat annoying as it is not a constant artifact, but otherwise it is in itself not that bad, just disappointing for a cable this price. I don't know if the Link is out of beta at the time of writing this review but it can only get better with future updates. See this purchase as future-proofing for the quest 2 headset.
The cable is surprisingly flexible and the jacket is strong. For 5 meters of usb-C cable it is quite expensive, but does the job perfectly. As a bonus for connecting to the occulus pc application, the game Asgard Wrath is offered when the cable is connected.
