In addition to an FM/AM tuner and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity, this model features a fully analogue acoustic design for a high fidelity sound experience!
The AX R85 has 4 analogue RCA inputs, including a phono input for connecting a turntable and a Rec output. On the front, a headphone port will transport you to the heart of your emotions, while a 3.5 mm jack input makes it possible to connect a smartphone, MP3 player or an iPod. Finally, for simple and practical use, this model comes with an infrared remote control.
The Focal sound
French flax fibre is one of the best in the world, thanks to the special climatic conditions in the regions of Flanders, Picardy and Normandy. Based on this observation and the multiple advantages of flax, Focal has developed a new technology: the "Flax" membrane.
For Aria, Focal has made two major changes to its Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter. The suspension that links the support to its dome uses a shape memory material: Poron. This allows the distortion to be divided by three between 2000 and 3000Hz, a zone of very high sensitivity to the ear.
