The Focal sound
French flax fibre is one of the best in the world, thanks to the special climatic conditions in the regions of Flanders, Picardy and Normandy. Based on this observation and the many advantages of flax, Focal has developed a new technology: the "Flax" membrane.
For Aria, Focal has made two major changes to its Aluminium/Magnesium tweeter. The suspension that links the support to its dome uses a shape memory material: Poron. This allows the distortion to be divided by three between 2000 and 3000Hz, a zone of very high sensitivity to the ear.
