Compact
Simple to assemble and easy to use. And quite easy to dust.
The ASRock B550M-ITX/AC motherboard is designed to accommodate 3rd generation AMD Ryzen processors on socket AM4. It will allow the assembly of a powerful and versatile configuration capable of performing all tasks. Gaming, streaming, intensive multitasking, multimedia creation, it is the ideal solution to design a high-end PC with high performance. It also supports DDR4 RAM, PCI-Express 4.0 16x graphics cards, SATA 6 Gb/s and M.2 PCI-E NVMe drives, and USB 3.0 devices.

The AMD Ryzen 3000 processors are among the first PC processors to be etched in 7nm and are compatible with the PCIe 4.0 interface. The third generation Ryzen, codenamed Matisse, impresses with its many cores and threads and very high base frequencies ! AMD's Ryzen 3000 offers a (re)discovery of high-end performance for gaming, content creation and intensive multitasking. They allow you to do EVERYTHING even faster and more fluidly.

Simple to assemble and easy to use. And quite easy to dust.
I chose it because it has 4 SATA ports. Assembled with a Ryzen 5 5500, it works without a hitch under Linux. Be careful, with this CPU you need to add a PCIe graphics card...
I didn't test the Wi-Fi, it's Intel: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168NGW [Stone Peak].
After assembling several configurations based on a B550, this motherboard is very functional and has all the options of the competition BUT... For having tested in gaming attention :
ASRock B550M-ITX + Ryzen 3600 +G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 + Geforce 1050Ti + SSD WD Green SN350 500 GB (OS) + Samsung 860 (games) -> perfect for gaming but on the OCCT software the processor power stagnates at 50W. AAA games run well on low.
Same configuration but changed graphics card for a Geforce 3050 .... Big freezes in AAA games on "intermediate", the card is no longer able to manage data exchanges between Ram/Cpu/Gpu -> the reason why I'm not giving 5 stars.
Yes, for an office computer with a Ryzen with an integrated Gpu and for casual gamer games, there's no point in thinking of putting in a graphics card beyond a Geforce 1650.
USB 2, USB 3, USB-C, M.2, SATA, there's everything you need for a compact configuration. The only thing missing is a USB-C port for a plug on the front of the case if you have one. Which is the case for me with the Zalman M2 Mini in which it's mounted. Too bad, but be warned.
The AM4 mounting hooks are fitted by default, so I had to remove them to fit a Noctua NH-L9A-AM4.
The AsRock management software under Windows (here 11) is simple and clear, it has quick functions to control the case fans and the processor overclock. However, it looks like it was designed in the Windows XP era. It's ugly, but ugly.
Wifi and Bluetooth work perfectly. I was able to connect my phone, which acts as a 5G modem, a mouse, a keyboard and a Bluetooth speaker at the same time, so I had everything wireless.
Waited a few weeks (no big deal), I assembled my Xth PC in pieces with this CM adapted to the recovery of a well known ACER mini ITX case. Installed with a 500GB NVME SSD, 32GB of Ram and a 65W AMD 5700G processor, this is a very nice configuration that booted as soon as I turned on the power with immediate recognition of the SSD (without any Bios update problem). The boot speed is impressive, around 10s, all actions are almost instantaneous and the graphics function integrated into the processor (type G) is sufficient for me (I do not play). So a modern motherboard ( B550 ) that does the job well.... I'm very happy with it.
