After 2 months of use, the product is generally in line with my expectations:
- Easy physical installation.
- Connection to the Wi-fi network complicated (without using the USB cable).
- The tanks are not a problem for the moment, to see in time.
- The printer is compact.
- The double-sided printing is not very practical.
- Good print/scan functionality
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the printer as a standalone device. When in fact, with the "direct wifi" (from a PC or a smartphone, via the temporary wifi network created by the printer) you can configure the wifi (SSID, etc) of the box from a web browser. Once the wifi is configured, everything is simple, you can still access the printer from a browser but also via AirPrint (Mac), IPP, IPPS (Linux) ... For Windows 10, the driver is already present, so no need for the intrusive application of HP.
The ink management is top, after all we do not put cartridges in our cars to fill up, well there it's the same and it's well done, clean, not a drop beside, not a stain when filling the tanks. The price of ink per millilitre via HP is about the same as the price of generic cartridges for my old printer.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use the printer for a long time, but I'm sure I'll be able to use it for a long time, and I'm sure I'll be able to use it for a long time, and I'm sure I'll be able to use it for a long time.
The printer is very good, the colours are true, the printer is not very noisy and the scanner is very quiet.
