It may be my first screen, but it suits me perfectly. I've been using it for 3 years and a few months now, mainly to play long sessions of TPS or FPS games, but also solo games where image quality is more important. and it has no problems. No dead pixels, average speakers but good enough to show clips to friends and family, always great colours. I couldn't be happier with the value for money.
Nothing to say for 200€ it does the job, very bright with beautiful colours and a response time more than correct.
I don't know this brand so we'll see how it performs after a few hundred hours of gaming but for the moment it's very positive for a 24" at 200€ with 1MS response time and 144hz.
I ordered this screen in a hurry and I'm far from being disappointed. The only drawback is that it's not curved, but I'm quibbling.
The first screen I received was perfect, and after a year "bars" appear and grow at the bottom of the screen, making the bottom of the screen absolutely unreadable. This is not from the cables!
In short, I managed to make a change after a drastic fight between an LDLC shop that didn't want to hear anything (as I bought the screen on the site and it's not the same entity) and AOC who did anything with the return via UPS and an extremely long waiting time to get the new screen.
After a year the second screen does exactly the same thing to me...
When I see that all my other screens have lasted at least 5 years and are still going strong, one year for a product that is supposed to be of quality is simply unacceptable.
AOC is finished for me!
Arrived on time, works perfectly, as described, reaches 144 FPS and the colour rendering is nice, otherwise nothing to report
Ultra smooth screen with incredible response time. It also has beautiful colours (without necessarily touching the setting)
Very good screen for this price
If you're looking for an IPS, FHD, 144Hz display at 24", don't pass it up. The 24G2U/BK is one of the best screens for this price range and specification in the market.
I received mine 3 days after ordering (bought at 180€), I don't notice any defect after 1 day of use. The brightness and contrast are very high for an IPS panel, the response time is also very low. The screen is ideal for mixed use (office, photo and video editing, games, movies). Unfortunately, I had to buy an mDP/DP cable because my laptop only has a mini DP port, so it's mandatory to use the DP to activate G-sync.
Otherwise, hats off to AOC for such an amazing screen for the price!
Bought 18 months ago, my AOC screen is still holding up very well!
A defect is the appearance of a dead pixel after 14 months, but this is not a problem for me as the position of the dead pixel does not disturb.
Great pluses that made me buy this screen:
-It has a pivot to switch to portrait mode
-144Hz and 1ms response, which was a total change for me having only had 60Hz screens with at least 5-10ms response time
-It was on sale
-The IPS panel has beautiful colours
Despite this, I note a few flaws:
-The usb HUB on the screen is so badly placed.
-The panel has black edges on the sides and top, which are annoying at first.
But not being so annoying, the rating will not be impacted.
I had to send my first screen back because of a lot of dead pixels, extending the delivery by a month, but the service was top notch.
If I had to change it, I would take the same 27".

Do not stand too close to the screen.... you can see the pixels well...
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to get a good view of the screen, but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get a good view of the screen.
I finally preferred my old Viewsonic 21.5 inch ips panel ... with much smaller pixels.
I notice that a Full HD+ screen in 24 inches is not indicated, because too big for this resolution.... !
