    Very happy with this screen

The definition and image quality are excellent.
The design is good and the workmanship is good.
The IPS panel displays beautiful colours from all angles.
The only downside is the blacks, which are not black at all, but given the price, I don't think you should be too demanding on this point. This is a known weakness of IPS panels. I can't wait for the affordable OLED on these sizes. Also, the brightness sensor is only active on certain modes, which is a shame.

Be careful with the machine you have

The Macbook pro mid 2015 hardly supports this screen in full resolution.
The image is jerky. If you lower the resolution the quality is degraded.
So a big machine is better.

    Beware of slowness

The screen is very good in terms of image quality, design and small footprint.
However, as a second monitor connected to a 15" macbook pro (Intel Core i7 - 2.5 Ghz / 16 GB DDR processor) I am disappointed because the display is very slow. Especially when using the Adobe CC suite (Illustrator / photoshop).
I have the impression that my mac is slow, although it works very well with another 27" screen.
No problem with the Office package.

Nice design / nice colours displayed

Purchased to replace a 25" WQHD screen with a UHD-4K screen. Main use is office and internet surfing under Linux (Fedora). The configuration of the screen via the menus is relatively intuitive and simple. The colours displayed are beautiful and vivid.
Configuration: Gigabyte H370 HD3, 16G Ram, I3-8100, MSI GT 710 2GD3H graphics card (proprietary NVidia drivers required to benefit from the 4K display - net display at 30Hz).

High quality, low price for creation!

I ordered this monitor for video creation and simulation. WARNING: not designed for gaming even if it allows to play in 1440p at max 76FPS with a good PC.
I recommend it for the creative pro or amateur!

    The pluses:
    - Very good quality/price ratio
    - Colour fidelity and factory calibrated monitor !
    - Easy installation
    - Very practical and ergonomic
    - No IPS glow or other defects found
    - Max vertical frequency 76 Hz for smoothness
    - Full connectivity (but no Thunderbolt) and cables included!

    Minus:
    - We would have liked a less rigid vertical positioning system
    - Menu and light adaptation systems could be improved

    very good screen

I am looking for a screen to replace a 6 year old iiyama e2273hds which has had a line of pixel hs for 2 years. I went from a 22 inch TN 2ms response time to a 27 inch IPS in 3840x2160 (4k) 5ms response time.
The screen I replaced always hurt my eyes, too bright, and impossible to have something correct in visual comfort (even if it's surprising for an iiyama, but that's my opinion), the controls were really not practical, and badly done. It was never really good (which explains why I switched to another brand (it doesn't seem to have changed much on the iiyama products presented at ldlc).
Apart from the fact that this Benq is more recent, bigger, 4K, ips..., it's less painful to the eyes because here the settings and buttons are really easy to use and adjust (the screen position settings are great (pivot, tilt...), even if that's not why I chose it, the sound could be better, but it's good enough) I use the screen for office, web, and gaming.
The 80W power consumption made me hesitate for a long time, knowing that the previous one was around 30W. Honestly I don't think it consumes 80W, it doesn't heat up at all behind.
For info I have a msi nvidia gtx 1060 aero itx 6g oc graphics card. I have not tested it on big 3d games, but it works very well for 3D CAD software.
Note that I thought of buying a Samsung U28E590D that I have at work precisely for 3D software. But this one, even if the screen controls are really good with the little joystick on the back, is also very bright, and hurts the eyes.
So far I'm not disappointed with my purchase, even if it is a bit expensive.

    Super Écran

After thinking about several PC screens for my job as a Graphic Designer / Photographer.

    - Excellent price/performance ratio.
    - The responsiveness of the screen.
    - Many presets well approached to cope with all situations, without the need for calibration.
    - Easy to use interface.
    - Good basic colorimetry.

I am fully satisfied with my Purchase, I finally have a dual screen like this with outstanding quality and breathtaking colours. Perfect for my work, I recommend !!!!
