Bulky stand does not support curved screens

I bought this dual screen arm as it seemed to be more flexible than others on the market. However, it does not hold a 6kg curved screen. The support between the arm and the screen is not tight enough, which causes the screen to fall off. I have to put something to wedge it between this support and the screen. So I have to replace this wedge every time I have to move the screen.
In addition, the arm does not fold to the side but to the back, forcing me to keep 30 centimetres between the desk and the wall.
The product therefore loses a lot of interest: the gain made on the desk is lost behind it. And the promise to hold a 9 kg screen is not kept, the arms are already exceeding their limits with a 6 kg screen.

It does the job but ...

The arm itself is great, nothing to complain about, but the first time I used the usb port on it, it got stuck...

    Effective

I was looking for a stable and sturdy arm for my two 24" screens without having to drill / mutilate my desk, which is not just a simple wooden board, and this model addresses this need perfectly.

The assembly is quite simple. The adjustments are however a bit difficult and rough if you want to have a lot of ease and fluidity (for someone who changes the orientation / layout of the screens several times a day) but remain very sufficient if you do not touch the layout of the screens all the time. Finally, the durability is very good.

The first section of the arms is not height-adjustable, so you will need a certain depth behind the desk or a good depth of the desk itself to have the edge of the two screens stuck together (or 32" screens). I don't suffer from this problem because my desk is very deep and doesn't touch any walls.

The usb and jack port (microphone and separate headphones) is more useful than I thought.

All in all, a good quality/price ratio for a robust, discreet and efficient product that keeps its promises.

    Huge disappointment

So let's start with the good things:
+ The construction is generally good
+ The cable management system does the job and the result is clean
+ I'm using it with two 32" screens at the weight limit (8.6Kg each for 9Kg per arm) and they hold their height and tilt perfectly once the right clamping is found. And beyond the weight limit, one could clearly go beyond in diagonal and that it passes nickel in term of dimensions.

Now the bad things. In number there are few, but in the end it makes the product really disappointing and almost not usable ...
The big problem is that in order for the screens to stick together you need to either have a desk that is not glued to the wall to allow the lower part of the arms to be moved back (and frankly I don't know many desks that have 50cm of distance from the wall) or have a desk that is crazy deep (about 1m50 deep). Otherwise, the arms will force you to bring the screens much closer to you, and you'll end up 15 cm away from your screens and your eyes will pop!

It's a shame because the product is well built, but the way the arms move and are organised in relation to each other makes it almost impossible to use this stand in a "working" office configuration, without space for clients on the other side.

    Does the job well

Easy to install if you have watched the video before.
You have to tighten the ball joint behind the VESA mount evenly (top and bottom) especially if the screen is not balanced otherwise it will tip over.
I don't give it a 10 because the screens don't rotate, but that doesn't bother me.
Tip: use 2 identical screens for a better design, but nothing to do with the arm.

    Not bad but...

The quality is there but the articulation is not ergonomic and I find myself with a huge old day between my wall and my desk to be able to arrange my two screens of 24' ... a little on top of it because there is less expensive and surely better optimized. After that it's still very solid, which is nice.

    Great dual screen arm!

This is a very well made arm, easy to assemble. You can either drill or clamp it if you don't want to damage your desk. The ball joints are of very good quality.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this product.

    Strong arms!

I have been hesitating for a long time to get articulated arms for my screens.
    The build quality is good.
There are plenty of adjustment screws.
I have mounted an XG27VQ and an XG27WQ on it, and it does the job perfectly!
It's great not to have the huge Asus feet on the desk anymore!

The hardest part is to align the 2 curved screens so that they are well aligned edge to edge! XD

    To be avoided

I bought this famous screen mount and the price is exorbitant. The quality of the workmanship does not justify the price and the arms are not at all ergonomic.
