Overview
Exceptionally quiet!
The NF-A20 is a high quality, quiet Noctua fan in 200mm format that meets Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard. Featuring the latest advances in aerodynamic technology, including Flow Acceleration Channels
, the NF-A20 takes the cooling performance for which they are renowned even further.
The PWM versionfeatures the proprietary NE-FD1 IC that allows fully automatic speed adjustment via the 4-pin fan connectors. It includes a Low Noise Adaptor (LNA) that caps the maximum speed during PWM drive. Its amazing discretion, the presence of SSO2 reference bearings and the quality level guaranteed by Noctua make the NF-A20 the ideal fan for the most demanding users.

Exclusive PWM IC with SCD
The NF-A20 features the latest NE-FD1 PWM IC with Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By generating less abrupt torque pulses, SCD eliminates the noise associated with PWM switching for quieter fan speeds.
Extensive wiring options
The first fan cable is a short 20cm (8") cable to minimise space requirements for common applications. The supplied 30cm extension cable will solve any distance problems.
Flow Acceleration Channels
The NF-A20 is equipped with flow channels on the suction side of the fan. The flow acceleration generated at the tips of the blades creates a more massive, less dispersed suction, thus increasing efficiency.
AAO frame
Noctua's AAO(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames are equipped with anti-vibration mounts and benefit from exclusive optimisations to push the limits of performance and silence.
Stepped Inlet Design
Noctua's Stepped Inlet design adds turbulence to the inlet flow, allowing a gradual transition from laminar to turbulent flow. This reduces noise emissions, generates a more massive flow and increases suction power.
Inner Surface Microstructures
As the blade tips move in a boundary layer influenced by the presence of an Inner Surface Microstructure, the flow separation that takes place at the suction level becomes almost non-existent.
Integrated anti-vibration dampers
The integrated anti-vibration mounts, made of extra soft silicone, limit the transmission of vibrations while ensuring perfect compatibility with standard fastening systems.
SSO2 Bearing
This is the latest generation of the SSO2 bearing, which is even more optimised. The SSO2 is equipped with a rear magnet closer to the axle for greater precision, durability and stability.
6-year manufacturer's warranty
Noctua fans are renowned for their quality and durability. As with all Noctua models, the NF-A20 has an MTBF of over 150,000 hours of testing and is backed by a full 6 year manufacturer's warranty.
Low Noise Adapter
The NF-A20 comes with a Low Noise Adaptator (L.N.A.) that drops the maximum speed from 800 to 550rpm. The L.N.A. is suitable for both fixed speed operation and PWM clamped operation.

    a quality and quiet product

Quiet fan (200mm diameter) even with the 2 other fans already in use.
Used to replace the one delivered with the thermaltake Level 10 GT tower (out of order after 11 years of service).
1 star less because, in spite of numerous fixing holes, none of them were adapted to the Thermaltake case, and the power supply no longer corresponds to the original one, so the fan had to be supplied directly to the Asus Prime Z590-P motherboard.
The delivery by post was very fast, the packaging was careful and the service was impeccable (advice). LDCL's reputation can be summed up in these few words: a quality service

    Noctua for ever

I placed this fan in a Rajintek Metis Evo box, which is quite compact, but cubic in size. The colours may shock sensitive souls, but the quality and silence are top notch.

A BIG bad wolf that sends out the big stuff

This 200 fan definitely maintains the quality you've come to expect from Noctua, they are quiet while moving an almost absurd amount of air.
Reliably built, with the same packaging and accessories you would expect.

    Very quiet but hideous

Its operation is imperceptible! Easy and flexible assembly with its soft silicone attachments. But what an idea to have chosen these colours...

    RECEIVED DEFFECTIVE

very disappointed received defective pwm stay stuck at 300 rpm
and bearing protrude from the lice so it doesn't turn round
very disappointed as I already own 5 noctua 140mm fans
I've never had this problem, fortunately I use the Asus front base to control them otherwise I would have seen that fire out of stock just after I turned to corsair
I'm not sure what the problem is with the ldlc service, but it's a good idea to replace them with equivalent ones.
