An ideal partner for everyday lifePerfectly anti-glare, flicker-free images, the widest possible viewing angle of 178° and many other EIZO features make it possible to work ergonomically and with the utmost respect for the eyes. The EV2450 model of the EIZO FlexScan series is the ideal partner for demanding users in the fields of quality-oriented design and office automation, commercial premises and control rooms, architecture, CAD/CAM, image processing and of course for private use. |
Economical and super-connectedThe Ultraslim monitor of the FlexScan EcoView series excels with its extremely low power consumption. The EV2450 model saves up to 52% of electricity by combining EIZO's own power saving technologies. The Auto-EcoView function continuously adjusts the brightness of the display to the ambient light, fully automatically. The EV2450 offers all standard connection variants with DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI and VGA signal inputs as well as two USB 3.0 ports for data transfer. All display parameters can be adjusted easily and intuitively at the touch of a button on the control panel. |
Sophisticated designThe FlexScan EV2450WFS3 is virtually edge-free thanks to the ultra-thin frame. The screen is surrounded on the side edges and the top edge by a thin 1 mm frame. When using several monitors side by side, you get an almost continuous visible surface. The advantage of the ultra-thin frame is that it is possible to use two monitors standing side by side in portrait mode. The FlexScan EV2455 is one of the first monitors that can rotate 90° to the left or right in portrait mode. A sophisticated and attractive design for a harmonious and individual working environment. |

Good value for money (300€)
I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this screen. The colours are rich, the blacks are deep. It does not irritate the eyes. The design is sleek. The screen settings are very ergonomic and easy to access.
As a wildlife photographer, I needed a faithful screen and I got it. Eizo is the reference in screens for graphic designers and photographers, and I verify it with this model which is only the first of the range. Sharpness, colour, brightness, everything is good and the big plus is the extremely thin edges. Finally, the menus allow you to adjust the screen. In short, I'm happy with it!
LDLC delivery: top notch, less than 48 hours... what else?
Eizo2450 : This is a big disappointment. I'm not talking about the design, the quality of manufacture, the stand, the osd, the connectors etc... it's heartbreaking to send this screen back... but in terms of light leaks... ouch! As soon as I start windows I notice a "faint" in the lower right corner, like a light that leaks over the screen. By changing position, i.e. by facing the right edge, the reflection changes aspect... but will I have to sit on the right side of my screen to be able to enjoy it?
The test with a black screen in a dark room more than confirms the concern: we have three yellowish corners, acceptable (300€ for a calibratable screen with a good contrast and 5ms, it's quite rare) on the other hand the bottom right corner radiates a white light that is impossible to ignore as soon as you display 1/2 tones, and more... I went to the Eizo service department, which was very reactive, and they informed me that the measurements were within their tolerance, and that the light leaks are inherent to the LED technology, and much more visible on this model because it offers a true black, i.e. excellent backlighting on most of the panel, which I want to believe.
But the fact remains that in use, I can only see that...
And yet the tests that can be found on the internet show a much more acceptable and homogeneous black screen than on my model. The after-sales service informs me that exchanging it would be useless...
I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board in search of a versatile screen, with acceptable defects, for 300€...
I have to say that I am very pleased with the responsiveness of Eizo's after-sales service, as well as LDLC's return policy, which will allow me to get out of this without any prejudice.
It is a flat, ergonomic screen with excellent picture quality and a nice size. It is very good for adjusting the colours as you like and therefore for graphics or for adapting it to your comfort.
The screen is thin, beautiful but above all a very nice slab in all aspects, colour, sharpness, resolution, viewing angle. Everything is ok. As for the sound... Well, I've never heard the speakers of a screen or a TV, not at home anyway!
The quality of the Eizo brand is unquestionable in the world of graphic arts and this model is no exception!
A very simple and pure design, an irreproachable image quality and a perfect colour rendering.
The only weak point is the poor quality speakers, which are sufficient for system sounds but not for music or films.
