Hello,
Bought to replace the old model bought almost 20 years ago. It is perfect.
The old cable cannot be used, which is a shame.
The cable requires an adapter to connect to a PC.
The sound of these headphones is far too low, and the highs and mids are as if they were attenuated.
I intended this headset to be used for listening to music. It will be impossible to enjoy anything with such a distorted sound.
I used to use a Sennheiser HD 515 which I was fully satisfied with, the HD 559 is really bad in comparison.
Another concern is that you don't want to have a big head, I have to open the ear cups to the maximum. The headphones exert a pressure on the head which is quite unpleasant.
I was looking for a good headset to listen to music and play video games (I have a stand-up microphone) and I am pleasantly surprised. Usually, with over-ear headphones my glasses arms get squashed against my temples but here the foam fits my glasses perfectly and I'm not accommodated at all.
Just be careful with the cable end, it's a big jack (6mm). I had misread this part of the description and got smart when I tried to plug it into my computer.
As usual, LDLC very responsive to an order.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
I'm very pleased with the product, nothing to say, a deep bass sound, and a finesse in the treble.
I recommend LDLC.
