The camera is as advertised, so no worries there.
I'm not sure why it's a good idea to send it to the post office, but I'm not sure why it's a good idea to send it to the post office.
The LDLC complaints department reacted very well and without giving any explanation ... had it sent by post.
It's a pity that logistics still have mysteries and no explanation is given. As this is the first time this has happened to me with LDLC, I am surprised. Is it a computer bug or a human bug?
The installation was quite complicated for me. It's the first time I install a module for a Raspberry pi machine, and I was totally lost here.
The fixing doesn't hold at all, the mechanism that allows to link the camera to the raspberry pi being a simple tablecloth to be slipped into the slot provided. So either I didn't understand how to install it, or the system is badly designed. Either way, instructions would have been nice.
The camera itself is as I expected.
Having tried filming with an old webcam, I knew that the V2 module would be great for video surveillance and so on. But I am very disappointed by its compatibility with OS. Indeed, only raspbian recognizes the camera and to make things worse, Cheese (webcam capture software) does not recognize the module despite raspbian.
The camera module is compatible with command line programs mainly (I didn't find any in graphical mode) and you need to know how to handle programming to get great things out of it. I managed to use Motion and the result is conclusive.
I therefore intend this module for those who do programming and less for an amateur like me.
