The ePDU G3 Switched range allows the control of equipment including those connected through several ePDUs. This range also includes an IEC Class 1 certified billing system (±1% accuracy), a hot-swappable intelligent module (eNMC) with an advanced LCD display allowing to show measurements in V, W, A and kWh and a Daisy Chain system allowing to connect up to 8 ePDUs on a single network port and IP address.

Eaton ePDU G3 - Switched Technology

G3 ePDUs can be used with Intelligent Power Manager software to trigger virtual machine (VM) migration and/or VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) based on alert configurations from the ePDU including temperature and/or humidity threshold alerts

Allows for secure remote control and reboot management
Highly secure access control with password protection and 1024 to 2048 bit SSLconfiguration
Equipment switching on/off including redundancy mode (channels A & B) (requires ePDUs Daisy Chain)
Sequencing of output sockets with start-up according to given order to avoid inrush currents
Supervision of circuit breaker status & global input measurement
Integrated pull-out protection (IEC sockets)

Colour coded for easy identification of outlets and associated circuit breakers
Hydro-magnetic circuit breakers including accidental fault protection
Low profile format for maximum space saving in the rack (52mm x 53mm on most models)
Mass configuration and update available through Intelligent Power Manager software
Single monitoring interface for multiple ePDUs and/or inverters and own shutdown management via Intelligent Power Manager software
