The adapter works, no bad surprises. The e-wire may be a bit short, so you'll need to have a plug close to the poe connector and the right length of RJ45 to match. It's a good idea to have the right length of RJ45 for the job, but it's not a good idea to have the right length of RJ45 for the job.
