Protect all your electrical equipment with this 8 socket lightning protector PMF83VT-FR from APC against lightning, surges and voltage peaks. 2 RJ11 ports and 2 coaxial outputs allow you to protect RJ-11 modem/fax, CATV/SATV/audio-video.

Protection activation indicator
SurgeArrest will alert you if its circuitry has been damaged by large voltage fluctuations or temporary overvoltage and is therefore unable to provide 100% protection. If the damaged SurgeArrest equipment is still under warranty, APC will replace it free of charge.

Compliance with IEEE Transient Residual Voltage Values and regulatory bodies
Stringent testing by independent agencies ensures that APC surge protectors will protect your equipment and data from power surges and spikes.

Resettable circuit breaker
Easy recovery from a power surge; no need to replace a fuse.

Sound filtering to eliminate electromagnetic and radio interference
Reduces line noise that can cause data loss and keyboard errors.

Catastrophic Incident Protection
SurgeArrest components, such as fast-acting fuses and thermal fuses, provide instantaneous response to lightning strikes or wiring failures. When surge protector components are damaged due to a voltage spike or surge, excessive power cannot reach your equipment. Unlike APC's SurgeArrest products, most surge protectors continue to allow current to flow even after the circuits are damaged, exposing your equipment to further dangerous surges.

Data line protection
Data line protection (Ethernet, coaxial and telephone) provides comprehensive protection for your equipment from power surges. It is very important to protect your equipment from surges accessing data lines via "backdoors", as these can be as dangerous to your equipment as surges on power lines.

Overload indicator
The indicator light comes on when the connected equipment is drawing more power than the unit can handle. To remedy this problem, disconnect the least important equipment.

What more could you ask for?

I bought this power strip to connect a Gamer PC, 5.1 cinema speakers, a printer... No problem! I have been using this product for a long time and it is very easy to use.

    A good grip

A power strip with a well thought-out design in terms of the possibility of connecting a substantial number of appliances, as well as the connecting cable (and a TV aerial, if necessary, although this socket is condemned to remain unused). The switch for the block is a definite plus.
The finish is impeccable and the cable length is very practical. This is a far cry from the do-it-yourself stuff we see most of the time.

    Does its job well

I bought it mainly to filter out the static and voltage spikes I get.
The fridge that suddenly stops giving me a big POK in the speakers of my stereo and my PC screen would shut down for a few seconds as if I had unplugged and replugged the power cable, like my RGB keyboard in USB.
A real problem for the longevity of the components.

Apart from the POK which I can hear very faintly now, I don't have the other problems anymore.

And for the price it's a very useful product that I highly recommend.
I will only use these power strips from now on.
    "Version with USB too"

I'm taking off half a star for its wall mounting system, which I don't find practical.

    Very good product

APC is a reputable brand, hence my choice of purchase, the product itself does what is expected of it in order to secure its equipment against lightning and possible power surges.
I plugged in my PC, the screen and the telephone line cable for the internet box.
