When handling the cables of my computer, it is common for one cable to press lightly on another and when that other cable is the one connected to this adapter, since it has no particular hold it will unplug.
You plug it in, and it works. It couldn't be easier.
Be careful though, the cable connected to the VGA side cannot be locked with screws, so beware of disconnections.
Depending on where this adapter will be plugged in, make sure you have ~7mm of free space on each side of the HDMI port (black shoulder).
The product works well (as far as I have used it) but there is no provision for screwing the VGA plug onto this adapter. So you have to be careful to put it down so that it doesn't get unplugged by accident.
I equipped my office PC with a graphics card.
This adapter has allowed me to keep my old VGA monitor (Flatron L1718S) for the time being without any problems.
The 1280*1024 resolution is very good.
This signal converter does its job without any problems.
But you should know that you will not be able to access the BIOS/UEFI of your PC if you only have one available VGA monitor connected through it to the PC.
The problem gets worse if you have to reinstall the OS or manage partition images with Live CDs such as Acronis True Image (based on WinPE) which do not recognise this adapter.
All this with an MSI Z370 PC PRO motherboard
