    Inexpensive but limited life span

    Product purchased in May 2019 and installed in early June 2019. Failed on 12 March 2022 ... no more connections or LEDs lighting up although the power transformer is working properly...

    A simple and beautiful switch!

    It's an 8 port gigabit switch. No fancy features: no routing, no DHCP server, not even management possibilities. Just a switch. You plug in, you connect. Standard LEDs on the RJ-45 ports, with small green LEDs on the front panel. RJ-45 ports and power supply are on the same side (the back) which leaves a clean (nicely curved) front panel.     With Nedis cables RJ45 category 6 S/FTP cable 3 m, problems at the wall socket but not at the box

    I have installed a wall socket (female) which delivers 1 Gbps (verified with this cable: Nedis RJ45 category 6 S/FTP 3 m), however connected to a TP-LINK TL-SG1008D switch, the speed goes down to 100 Mb/s whereas at the box we have 1 Gbps.
