I had originally bought the adapter to try to do extended dual screen on 1 GTX 770 with 2 screens but hardware wise it didn't work so I'd say it's more ideal for conferences with two screens, one for the computer and the second vga output for a larger screen.
I'm sure it's a good idea to have it packed and shipped in a timely manner.
