The card is very powerful! It's perfect for my purposes (video game development), and the in-game graphics are magnificent too!
A good compromise for my 1080, which was starting to age. I can finally play the latest games with full graphics capabilities. I don't regret having put my trust in LDLC, who took me step by step through the ordering process right up to my home address.
It works well, it's quiet, it doesn't consume much, it doesn't heat up much, it's quality.
So there you have it.
An upgrade from the RTX 3060, very satisfied and surprised. Double the performance. Ldlc as usual, quality at the best price.
The card delivers performance in line with its price, so you don't have to worry about whether you're putting everything in ultra or not...
Remarkably stable in temperature and therefore very quiet.
Nikel fast and reliable delivery but disappointed not to have alan wake 2 even though I received the card less than 1 month ago.
I ordered this graphics card on Thursday evening and received it on Tuesday (standard delivery).
Quick installation.
Render is bluffing when you come from a 1080 ??.
I highly recommend this site and this product.
Thanks to the ldcl team for the advice beforehand.
bought on the advice of one of your salesmen.
does not heat up at all 63 in ultra game ( sniper5/ call of ) and super fluid
I bought this card to replace an RTX 3070 Ti (which found a second life in a relative's PC) and even if the performance gain isn't necessarily immediately visible, the fact that there's only one 8 PIN connector for the card's power supply (instead of three on the 3070) is already very appreciable. As far as I'm concerned, the absence of RGB LEDs is also a plus!
In practice, the card currently runs Baldur's Gate 3 very comfortably with all graphics options at maximum 1440p. At this speed, it heats up a little but remains fairly silent.
The only problem I had was a black screen under Linux at first boot, which was corrected by updating (via the console) the nVidia drivers (minimum nvidia-driver-535 package, or more recent).
This OC version lets you run most recent games at maximum quality without any lag. With the DLSS3 it's magnificent.
The summer went by without any problem of temperature rise with the 3 fans.
More expensive than the RTX3060 Ti but with much better performance. Even with the arrival of the RTX4060Ti, I wouldn't change my choice.
Please note: crash with black screen during Diablo IV start cinematic, no problem since then otherwise.
Finally a recent affordable GPU. As expected, very good performance.
Upgraded my RTX 2080S for more VRAM, holding up well for VR.
I bought this CG to replace my RTX 2080 Aorus. It's night and day...
When I switched to the 40 series**, I expected an increase in performance but it's pretty amazing.
From a performance point of view:
For info I have an R9 5900X and 32GB 3200Mhz
650 FPS on Rocket league
500 FPS on Counter-Strike Global Offensive
120 FPS on Escape From Tarkov (on Customs, not yet tested other maps)
300 FPS on Rainbow Six Siege
All in full ultra 1080p (yes I know ONLY 1080p :P) of course.
From a thermal point of view:
Nothing to detect after a heavy gaming session, the card doesn't throttle and the fans are very quiet (bigup to Gigabyte for the zero rpm mode in case of low usage).
Small negative point (all the same):
The quality of the materials, clearly it won't win the 2023 design award, the card is mostly made of plastic (except for the metal backplate), but for the price you can't expect more!
The lack of RGB can displease if you like this kind of thing, I have this sober side a little "old school".
Conclusion:
A great card for 1080p or 1440p (even 4K, but I wouldn't know :/)
A sober design but really oriented performance and practicality, the fact to have an 8Pin PCie port is a pure happiness.
I highly recommend it.
I had a 2080 ti which struggled a bit with some 4k games but it's not a problem anymore.
I recommend it with my eyes closed.
