bought yesterday at LDLC in La Roche-sur-Yon, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the A850G PCIE5 model has been upgraded by MSI: it now has a 12V-2x6 connector instead of the 12VHPWR. This power supply is now PCIE5.1 Ready.
Unlike many power supplies, here the 1000 volts are delivered at 12 volts!
So you can be sure of getting the power and efficiency you need.
It fits perfectly into any enclosure and is particularly flexible!

Used to replace an MSI A850GL that I didn't like (very noisy), this A850G is much better. It's silent and the cables supplied are of better quality. In particular, there's a very practical 12VHPWR to 2x8 pin.
It has all the features I was looking for PCIE 5, ATX 3.0, 80 Plus Gold certification, 105°C capacitors made in Japan, 0db mode.

Has a button to switch the fan on or off. Frankly, whether the fan is running or not, you can't hear a thing.

Due to electrical instability problems with my LDLC 750w Gold power supply, linked to a manufacturing defect known on the internet associated with Seasonic, I quickly had to change my power supply to cope with my new RTX 3080. The MSI 850G fulfilled its role perfectly, it's silent and stable. The flat cables make cable management much easier. What's more, it's ready for the future with the new standards and connectors.
