I like this hard drive because it does what it's supposed to do, namely store files quickly and efficiently without having to worry about its presence.
Silent and not particularly hot, it easily replaced a 400 GB SSD.

This SSD is extremely fast, booting up the PC (Linux) in less than 3 seconds and loading applications instantly. Multiple VMs running in parallel do not seem to slow it down.
I installed it in an ASUS NUC PRO NUC12WSHi700002I that I ordered at the same time, and I accidentally ordered it with the heat sink, which does not fit in this PC, which has its own built-in heat sink (conductive foam plate and copper plate). So I had to remove the heat sink (be careful with the tiny screws, 5-point stars, not Torx), which I think voids the warranty.
This isn't the first Samsung PRO SSD I've used, and they have a very long lifespan even with intensive write usage.
This is the fifth SAMSUNG SSD I have purchased, and I am very satisfied.

I don't think it's right that after buying a PC from LDLC, then a hard drive, and going to the LDLC store in Annemasse, they refuse to sell me a missing screw to attach the hard drive because I bought it online.
The screw was not included with the Asus PC motherboard purchased online from LDLC.

After a certain number of years, you end up working with a lot of data, especially if it includes high-definition images. 1 TB is no longer enough. The ability to easily upgrade to 2 TB is a very useful feature. It would be beneficial to highlight this more in the computer's specifications. This is one of the key advantages of a desktop computer over a laptop.
I bought it as a second drive for a 9100 PRO, but honestly, it's a very good SSD. I recommend it for installation on PCIe 4.0 x4.

The performance is impressive: ultra-fast start-ups, almost instantaneous loading and perfect fluidity, even with large games and applications. As my motherboard isn't pci 5.0 compatible, this is the best fast and reliable pci 4.0 model to replace a crucial horror that won't even last 2 years? (and I've still got old Samsungs that are 8 and 10 years old as secondary disks)

The shipment by ldlc was fast and problem-free.
From my old configuration, I kept the asus geforce GTX 1650 graphics card, the case and the storage hard drives.
I had a little trouble at first getting my new configuration to boot up, but the problem was actually with the previous power supply. I appreciated ldlc's responsiveness and advice in finding the source of the problem (which was resolved by replacing the power supply unit).
I'm now completely satisfied with this new configuration, particularly for its silence and speed, for the use I make of it (office work and occasional 4K video editing).
Designed to replace a 500GB SAMSUNG SSD 970 PRO when migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on a standalone installation, this product is extremely responsive, although its capabilities are limited by the characteristics of the HP EliteBook 850 G5 PC (PCIe Gen 3x4). The 970 PRO now houses ACRONIS backups in an Icy Box. The lifespan and reliability of these SSDs played a big part in my choice.
Both the product and the delivery were satisfactory. Please note, however, that the very specific screw for fixing the NVME is not supplied.

I bought this drive for a server, and I'm very happy with it. In general, these are good drives, although I once had a Samsung SSD that was starting to have read/write errors (via S.M.A.R.T detection). The one star less is for the previous faulty model I had, which lasted only 3 years. I hesitated with another brand that I thought would be more reliable (and more expensive), but I preferred to have two SSDs in BTRFS RAID (more reliable than mdadm RAID).
This product is everything I hoped it would be. The order and collection from the shop were very quick. I would recommend it!
