With the Data Migration software, this SSD cloned my System disk without any problem, with the Nedis Adapter sold by LDLC.
I installed this SSD in place of the old one (which had insufficient capacity)
Everything works as soon as I switch on the computer, no data is lost!

Works as expected. Data transfer is not the fastest, but it can be read on a TV.
This product is very useful for formatting a new hard disk if you don't have the option of plugging it directly into the motherboard inside the case. It can also be used as an external hard drive.
I've used this sata3-usb adapter and it works very well. I've cloned two disks, one on a Crucial and one on a Samsung.
Connection made easy ... Just plug it in and it works ... And it's much easier to connect an SSD (or hard drive) than having to buy an extra box!

This is a solution for those who connect their SSD to all their computers. It's much more convenient than buying an external case to put the SSD in. Nope, here it's spartan and fast: you plug and play... :D

Ordered an SSD, some RAM and a SATA - USB cable. Order received quickly, all items ordered are functional.

I took this adapter to be able to use a SSD in SATA with a raspberry Pi 4. I also took a cheap SSD with it.
The adapter works directly and the UASP is functional with the Pi 4: I get a write speed (the most relevant speed in terms of fluidity) at 208 MB/Sec! Where a class 10 SD card does 10-15 MB/sec at best.
In short, the Pi 4 becomes a "racehorse" and boots in 25 seconds. I did a complete upgrade of the distro (from stable to testing) in only 10 minutes... where it took half a day on an SD card. In short, in these conditions, it's worth using a Pi 4.... The real sticking point of the Pi is the speed of writing to the SD card.
Between the SSD and the USB 3.0 to SATA adapter, you're looking at 40€... but it's versatile and can be used with any other PC if needed. Really cool adapter.
Bought it to recover data from various 2.5" drives. Coupled with a samsung 870 QVO ssd it also makes a small, light external drive that works very well with a basic laptop running W10 family.
