Thanks to this affordable equipment, I was able to scan very small 4 x 3 cm photos of my paternal grandparents whom I never knew. Combined with good retouching software, it's an ideal tool to help with genealogy.
What's more, the CANON HUB is quick to contact you for help with installation. On the other hand, the retouching options when scanning are not really effective and it wastes time for nothing, I recommend unchecking.

The images scanned from the photos have good resolution and are individually isolated in the folder created, even if several are scanned simultaneously.
I'm very pleased with this purchase.
There's just one function that's missing or that I haven't found: making double-sided copies directly without saving anything in between and then printing the file with the double-sided function.

I was disappointed with the quality of the scanner, and the software does not allow much intervention before finishing the scan.
I was expecting excellent image quality.
Bought during the lockdown to replace an old Canon Lide 70 that was not compatible with Windows 10. For office use.
The product has gained in speed, the software is minimalist but it integrates OCR and the multipage management is practical.
As efficient in use as the (much more expensive) professional copier installed in my office.
- surprisingly light scanner and I obviously can't (yet) comment on its long-term durability
- trouble-free installation (under Windows 10)
- intuitive and easy to use, although I've never used a Canon scanner before
- meets my office needs
- very easy access to "unusual" functions, for me, such as A3 document scanning (via the assembly of 2 A4 scans)

Very decent scanner for the price, with a very small footprint, which is great for busy offices. The direct USB power supply means that the device is always available without having to turn it on/off all the time.

As a professional illustrator/draftsman, I am very disappointed by this scanner which is no better than a dumb printer/scanner.
The resolution is not great, there are few settings on the software given with the scanner (impossible to scan in bitmap)... each scan requires a lot of settings in photoshop.
It's a pity we can't test the material before!
Very good quality product, works perfectly, easy to install and use. It's as good as you'd expect from a brand like Canon.
Perfect. The only drawback is that you have to get the driver from their website for Mac Mojave ....................
This scanner does its job quite well. Very good overall results. Too bad the user interface is a disaster, especially for direct copying. It deserves a complete overhaul.
