Bought it almost 4 years ago, it is reliable and holds up well over time, no problems to report on that. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but it's a good one. The transfer speeds in 3.0 are correct for the use I make of it.
I recommend it, but expect not to have 4TB.
The brand's hard drives are of high quality and this one is no exception. It's quiet, rather light and doesn't take up much space, and there's nothing wrong with the transfer speeds either. The only downside is the capacity of 3.63TB, not 4TB. If this loss of about 10% is found in the 1TB and 2TB models, it would be good if the manufacturer would mention it, even if you know it from use. Thanks once again to the LDLC team for the quality of their service.

Doesn't have the claimed capacity (like all storage devices now), decent performance without more and reasonable price, in the average, what...
The only flaw is the recurring problem with hard drives: They never fully fill the capacity that is indicated, which is a bit frustrating!
The only problem is that they are never fully loaded, which is a bit frustrating! I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good one.
The hard drive itself works perfectly. The only thing I find problematic (and this is unfortunately the case with all hard drive manufacturers) is the dishonest and irritating way of playing with the storage units.
When I buy a 4TB drive, it is to have 4096GB of storage, with 1GB = 1024MB, etc. In this case, I end up with 4 "false" TB, i.e. 4000 "false" GB of each 1000 "false" MB, etc. This gives me 3.63 "real" TB of total capacity, which still represents a loss of almost 10% of capacity.
If manufacturers would stick to the real storage units they claim on their disks, perhaps their customers would be happy to pay a few euros more to have the capacity they want.
