Product ordered to revive an old computer with Linux Mint Xfce. Boot time has gone from 2m30s to 30s and the PC is much more responsive. This is the least expensive SSD and its capacity is more than sufficient for a simple office PC with Linux.

Product purchased to give a facelift to a 2014 Lenovo Laptop which was suffocating at the slightest request. The Ssd arrived in a few days, the installation went without a hitch and the PC is much more responsive and now boots up in a few seconds. A good product on the face of it, to be seen over time.

I don't really know what else to say. It keeps its promises: I've used it for gaming, for more standard office work and for multimedia sharing, it does its job wonderfully with good read/write speeds.
Mounted on a new PC, this SSD helps Windows 10 to start up quickly, in 10 to 15 seconds. No mounting problems.
Installed in an old HP Pavilion DV7-2127SF PC instead of the original HDD, gives a significant boost.
Recognised without problems. SATA2 interface of the PC not fast enough to take full advantage of the product's performance. Old PC HDD put in slot 2 for additional storage.
For less than 50 €, this gives a new lease of life to an old PC that had become unusable :)
I bought it for a desktop PC, and finally installed it on an Asus 1025C NoteBook. The result is amazing, recognized and installed without any problem.
The SSD can go up to 80°C MAX when used at 100% of its read/write capacity which is apparently not dangerous for the device according to the technicians at ldlc. It is very good and works very well but it is not suitable for Frozen PCs xD
A product that you can buy with your eyes closed, Crucial quality and outstanding performance! Coupled with 8Gb of RAM, the PC boots up in 5 seconds. I have never seen a ssd so light. I highly recommend it.

It's not an M2 drive but it's still fast.
240 GB is enough to install an OS, I save the data on a standard disk to limit write access to the SSD.

ALL CLEAR. 223 GB useful, recognized without problems by the mobo, transfer of Windaube from the old disk in 3-4 minutes via AOMEI.
W7_64 a bit faster without more with Avira active. Without it, yes it runs much better than before! Word 2000 (lighter ;o) ) without preloading opens almost instantaneously as with the old disk but with preloading! Delighted.
Very, quality, delivery, maintenance "support". But on the box and on the website it says 240GB and it says 223GB in the hard drive
The installation of this product went well and the SSD was correctly recognized by the BIOS of a 2009 netbook.
This improves the loading of the OS (Windows 10 but still slow because of the CPU but Lunbuntu soon).
It remains to be seen how long the product will last for average use.

used as a usb stick with a sata cable + power supply at the back of the pc to save important files. does the job because it is faster than a usb stick and easy to transport away from the pc (backup)
For this price we can only be satisfied, Windows launches in a few seconds, it's a bargain to upgrade an old config :)
I've been using this drive for a long time now and it's still great. It's the second Crucial drive I've ordered from this site and it's still great! The product is very well protected for transport and Crucial is really a very reliable brand.
